The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) unveiled its election slogan as it kicked off its political campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, along with his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann, led the campaign launch event, attended by party leaders and declared candidates.

Kejriwal emphasized his dedication to serving the people of Delhi, referring to them as his family, and unveiled the party's slogan: "Sansad mein bhi Kejriwal, to Dilli hogi aur khush haal" (Delhi will be more prosperous with Kejriwal in Parliament).

During the event, Kejriwal criticized the BJP government, alleging that the Centre, through the Delhi Lieutenant Governor, obstructs every project initiated by the AAP government. He urged the people to empower him by electing all seven opposition candidates to Parliament, highlighting the adversities faced by his government.

Regarding electoral alliances, the AAP has formed a collaboration with the Congress party under the INDIA bloc for the Lok Sabha polls. In Delhi, Gujarat, and Haryana, the AAP will contest in alliance with the Congress, while both parties will independently contest in Punjab.

In Delhi, the AAP will contest four out of seven Lok Sabha seats, with the Congress fielding candidates for the remaining three seats. The arrangement designates AAP to contest from New Delhi, West Delhi, South Delhi, and East Delhi constituencies, while the Congress will field candidates in Chandni Chowk, North East, and North West Delhi.

Furthermore, the AAP has secured two constituencies in Gujarat (Bharuch and Jamnagar) and one in Haryana (Kurukshetra) under the seat-sharing agreement with the Congress. Additionally, the AAP has announced its candidates for Lok Sabha constituencies in Assam (Guwahati, Dibrugarh, and Sonitpur) separately.

As the AAP gears up for the Lok Sabha elections, its alliance with the Congress and the unveiling of its election slogan reflect the party's strategic approach to garner support and strengthen its electoral prospects.
